Oral cancer and pre- cancer are on the rise in India and in the  Asian sub-continent. It accounts for more than 35% of all cancers in Indian males. This is largely due to use of tobacco and also the increasing use of arecanut, pan products, gutkha etc. The bigger concern is the alarming increase in the younger population being affected by mouth cancer

Keeping in mind the above mentioned facts we have brought together a team of specialists to focus on treating oral cancer, pre-cancer and other oral pathological lesions with special emphasis on early diagnosis by dental surgeons.

ROCC strictly follows American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) protocol and has regular clinical audit and tumour boards for providing internationally accepted standard of care. Apart from cancer, all types of pre-malignant lesions and conditions like sub mucous fibrosis, Leukoplakias, benign cysts and tumours are also treated in the centre. The striking feature is our excellent rehabilitation team consisting of speech and swallowing pathologists, psycho-oncologists, implantologists and Dental surgeons, thus providing better quality of life following surgery.
